Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary: official chiptune soundtrack collection incoming
Final Fantasy 25th anniversary celebrations have prompted developer Square-Enix to de-make the biggest songs from Final Fantasy 7 – 11 and compile them together in a chiptune soundtrack collection.
Square-Enix previously released a Final Fantasy XI chiptune album in Japan only, titled ‘XI Chips – FINAL FANTASY XI Chiptune’, but it never released in the west.
Fret no more, as ‘Chips’ albums for all games from Final Fantasy 7 up to 11 will be hitting the American and European Square-Enix eShop soon.
No date has been given, but retro fans should check these out at launch. We’ll post the release date as soon as we get it.
