Botanicula, Dyad, Stanley Parable among IndieCade 2012 Red Carpet Award nominees

The nominees list for the 2012 IndieCade Red Carpet Awards have been announced, presenting a broad cross-section of genres and aesthetics from around the world.

Some should be familiar to you already, like The Stanley Parable, Botanicula, Dyad and Splice, while others are slightly more obscure and kind of worth reading up on just for the sheer delight of marvelling at human ingenuity and creativity.

The full list of nominees is below. For more information on all the nominees, visit the IndieCade website. Some are available to play for free online or for sale, while others - like Pong conversion Open Source - are probably only going to come your way at festivals, unfortunately.

Indiecade's 2012 Red Carpet Awards take place on October 4 and will be hosted by Felicia Day. The awards are part of the broader International Festival of Independent Games, which runs October 4 through 7 in Culver City, Los Angeles.
