Resident Evil 6: New screens show split screen co-op and skill trees

Resident Evil 6 is shuffling so close we can almost smell the flesh rot from here. Capcom has released a new batch of screens into the wild that give a closer look at the game's split screen co-op and skill unlock system.

Andriasang found the pics, and dug out some new information on Resident Evil 6's skill tree system.

As you play through a stage, you will earn skill points that can be cashed in for new abilities and buffs at the end of each chapter. Skills are grouped into sets of three, and as you progress you will be able to unlock eight full sets of skills. You can only use one at a time though - so think of them as class load-outs in FPS games.

Capcom is yet to confirm a skill that makes Chris's arms even bigger though. We'll keep an eye out.
