The Witch and the Hundred Soldiers resurfaces, Nippon Ichi talks release

Nippon Ichi is gearing up for its 20th anniversary celebrations, and will be launching several games to tie in with the festivities. One of them is hoped to be The Witch and Hundred Soldiers, a project that was due to release on PS3 in June. It silently disappeared off the map, but the publisher has spoken out about the delay.

Speaking in this week's Famitsu, Nippon Ichi CEO Sohei Shinkawa revealed that the Prinny Team had little experience with 3D so The Witch and the Hundred Soldiers was delayed to allow more time for polish, but he assures fans that the game is moving along nicely.

Shinkawa hopes the game will launch along with the publisher's 20th anniversary festivities.

Elsewhere Project Arcadia is still in development and Nippon Ichi's third 20th anniversary game Project D is nearing an official title and announcement, teased Shinkawa.
