Street Fighter x Tekken Vita packs in extra features

Street Fighter x Tekken's portable incarnation is even more feature-rich than its home console brethren; learn about ghost tags, Swap Switch, data sharing and more through the break.

As detailed in the video below and on Capcom Unity, Street Fighter x Tekken allows you to collect "ghost tags" while playing online. If you're offline or just feel like playing against the CPU, you can activate a ghost tag to fight an AI-controlled opponent based on data harvested from those you've met online.

Swap Switch is a natural extension to this; if you fight a ghost tag and lose, you'll get the chance to play as your opponent, poking around in their customised gem and costume set up as you go, to figure out what they had that you didn't. Data sharing allows you to share DLC between your PS3 and Vita, too, so if you see something you like on an opponent, you can buy it and use it on both systems.

SFxT Vita allows you to share your progress with friends via Activity updates, and to collect KO trophies glorifying your victories. It also includes a gallery of all the goodies you've unlocked. It's due on Sony's portable in October and is currently available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
