Simon Maxwell departs Future for Eurogamer Network

Former Future Publishing executive Simon Maxwell has left the firm after nine years to join Eurogamer Network as group publishing director, Eurogamer has confirmed.

Maxwell will begin 1 October and had this to say about his new appointment, "Joining Eurogamer as part of the senior management team at this time is a very exciting prospect."

"I have admired their work, brands and team for a long time", Maxwell added, "and I look forward to joining them and working together to build on the excellent success they have had to date. The business is looking to grow and expand further and has ambitious plans, which made this opportunity so attractive."

Maxwell will help continue the impressive growth of the business and take responsibility for a range of the company’s properties and services.
