The Vita exclusive contains co-op and online multiplayer for 1-4 friends. Waiting for the demo. Some people liked the new take on franchise.

So… they’re removing the very essence of Silent Hill? The feeling of solitude and isolation; desperation in the face of adversity? Yet in this latest iteration, you’re battling through your own inner turmoil with a gang of cohorts?

Saying that, I’m shamelessly addicted to the Silent Hill franchise (even though there hasn’t been a decent game since PS2) so there’s a good chance I’ll get this regardless.

Next step: running, gunning and killstreaks. Because it needs more action and they need to *broaden* the audience.

I sincerely hope not… they’ll end up turning it into Chainsaw Lollypop *shudder*

Aw, please, people. It’s a spin off. They could do a SH pinball, a SH Party and/or a SH Kart, it doesn’t hurt the main franchise (ok, I’m not so sure about the kart thing).

The thing is, you’re all hating this game so much, to me it’s like hating Theatherythm Final Fantasy and say it ruins the FF franchise, when i’ts only a spinoff, not a canon or numbered game…

For those who want the same game always, we still have Downpour, and probably much more Silent Hills will come that uses the same concepts of Survival Horror. For now, let’s just give BoM a chance – if, in the end, it proves to be a shitty game, ok, let’s complain. But saying the same silly “[name of franchise] died in [old game that I love more than the new ones]” isn’t helping either.
