Sega Alliance launched as new indie publishing scheme

Sega has announced a new initiative to publish independently developed games, the Sega Alliance, providing creators with "comprehensive marketing and production support as well as creative consultation". The first game to receive this luxurious treatment is Owlchemy Labs' Jack Lumber, out now on iDevice. Check out a trailer through the break.

Looking like some kind of puzzle game, Jack Lumber hails from the same team as Snuggle Turck and is available on the App Store for $0.99/£0.69,/0,79 € during its launch window; later it'll be back to $1.99.

The game will be on show at PAX which probably means it is Sega's mysterious digital title.
