Company of Heroes 2 shots show a cold, Eastern Front
Company of Heroes 2 screenshots have been released by THQ, and they show off the “innovative weather condition” simulation tech in the game. Relic has preciously said the weather system will make the brutal Soviet winter on the Eastern Front just as deadly in-game as it was during World War II. Basically, your troops can freeze to death. Check out the assets below. Company of Heroes 2 is scheduled for PC in early 2013.

@1 After the disgrace that Generals 2 has turned out to be, I really don’t mind if it’s only a small’ish upgraded engine from the last CoH. I’d say it definitely looks a little more polished either way but yeah as long as the story is as epic as last time I’ll be happy

@1 Don’t be a snob! It’s the gameplay and the story that matter and not the engine.

early days yet – no shadows on the screens etc. Im glad really. I hate when companies use pure bullshots.

I thought Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor felt kinda tacked on, and while Yoshi is totally right in that a rerun of a good thing is better than an innovative disaster, it does make me a little apprehensive.
The original COH is pretty much the last time Relic really shone in my opinion.
