Mass Effect 3 Operation Olympus a resounding success

The BioWare Blog reveals last weekend's Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event was a great success. Players managed 253,408 bronze, 206,386 silver and 89,198 gold extractions against the Reapers to secure Victory packs for all participants - as well as a special bonus for such a strong performance. A note from Admiral Hackett on the blog suggests the operation may be tied to upcoming single-player DLC, Leviathan, too. BioWare hosts special multiplayer events every second week; Mass Effect 3 has proved enduringly popular, perhaps as a result.
