Lunar Software reveal Routine at gamescom 2012
This first-person space title has debuted in Cologne, and looks set to ditch guns.

It’s not often an original IP is revealed without a barrage of gunfire, especially when the title is first-person. Lunar Software has unleashed a subtle trailer for Routine, showcasing a moon base that has got serious problems. From the footage shown, players will be hunting through this station with survival on their mind.
No bullets are fired, but an interesting camera device is highlighted. Check it out here.
Routine will release next year for PC and Mac.

Thiiiis looks like Amnesia in space. And that’s not a bad thing. That is not a bad thing at all. First person games without guns are absolutely delightful. And I know for a fact I can’t speak for most of you, but I wish we had more of them. First person games are great for exploration, but they’re rarely used for such.
