Final Fantasy VII finally re-released on PC

FF fans rejoice! You can now play Cloud’s adventure on your PC once more!

Yes, FFVII is back. If you’ve been living under a rock, or indeed weren’t living when the original game was released, this is widely regarded as one of the best JRPG’s of all time. For £7.99 (rising to £9.99 in September), it’s well worth a punt.

This version includes Achievements and a Character Booster, plus a ‘Cloud Save’ system (ahem).

    In Final Fantasy VII, Cloud carries around like a really big sword. It’s as big as he is really, and I’ve often wondered how he could even hold the thing. Now, the guy who made a real-life version of the Minecraft diamond sword built this Buster sword, and it is completely ridiculous. Video inside.

    Final Fantasy 7 is getting the fan film treatment, courtesy of directors Gionata Medeot & Mattia Ferraro. The duo has just released a teaser trailer for the project, dubbed ‘Final Fantasy VII: The Movie’. It shows the scene where Aeries and Cloud meet in the Midgar church. Watch it below.
