Polytron “politely refused” Zynga’s help on mobile Fez port

Tuesday, 14th August 2012 09:21 GMT By Nick Akerman

Fez developer Polytron has claimed Zynga wanted to secure a mobile port of the Xbox Live Arcade game.

The tweet appeared over the weekend on the studio’s official feed.

“ZYNGA approached us to port FEZ to mobile. We politely refused. So, look forward to Zynga’s FEX any day now, I guess!”

Unsurprisingly, help was turned down.

Zynga has suffered over the last couple of weeks. The company is already combating a lawsuit for copyright infringement from EA, and have recently been slated by Activision’s David Crane.

Thanks, PG.

I wouldn’t get Zynga to do it they’d charge you for every single puzzle.

I can’t see Fez working on mobile devices with no control functions, the Vita and 3DS maybe, some interesting puzzles could be done with their cameras and gyroscopes n stuff.

Why, you can’t even die properly in Fez. Hardly a tight controlled platformer.
