Ronimo have continued to update Awesomenauts since release. After announcing a new character for the PC version, the developer indicated console DLC is in the hands of publisher DTP.

The new character hasn’t been announced for console versions of the game, but Ronimo remain positive.

“We’re all for it and ready to do it,” Ronimo’s Jasper Koning told Joystiq, “but it’s up to the publisher of the console version, DTP.”

Koning added there are “no concrete plans right now, but we’re very hopeful.”

Awesomenauts has received a large amount of praise since release, and it currently available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
