Asylum demo available on PC, Mac, Ubuntu

Tuesday, 14th August 2012 00:59 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Senscape has released a playable teaser for Asylum, its creepy adventure set within the Hanwell Institute.

The quasi-demo is available for Mac, PC and Ubuntu directly from Asylum’s website, and also includes the full source code to introduce hobbyists to the Dagon engine.

Senscape also announced recently that Asylum includes voice work from legendary adventure game designer Josh Mandel is revealed as the voice of the enigmatic game’s protagonist, his first non-comedic performance.

Asylum has been in the works for four years and still has a way to go, apparently, so no launch date as yet. We haven’t had time to check the demo out yet, but we did post some details of the game’s plot and mechanics this time last year.
