Halo 5: 343 discusses its approach to what comes next for the Chief

Halo 4 developer 343 Industries has discussed the advantages of working closely with Microsoft when deciding what will happen when the team turns its attention to Halo 5 and the rest of the planned trilogy.

Speaking with the Independent, lead game designer at 343 Industries Scott Warner explained how cautious the teams needs to be when planning for Halo 5.

"There's always kind of a careful balancing act between what you decide to improve upon," Warner said, "what you have that you think is really good, what's the great mixture of that to put you in the best position to be successful as a team. But certainly as things go on in development we have an advantage in the sense that we can cross those streams a bit."

When asked if Warner's team wanted to kick ass with Halo 5, he replied, "Yeah absolutely, that’s one of the great advantages of working at a place like Microsoft."
