Limited edition brown Ouya and Vevo partnership announced

A limited edition version of Ouya has been announced via the console’s Kickstarter page. You can only get in on the color this week when you pledge $140. If you have already pledged $99 for the silver model, add in the extra funds if you would rather have brown. The controller is also brown. The makers behind the console also announced today a partnership with Vevo, which will allow users to view all its videos through the console. The Kickstarts only has 7 days left, and 47,166 backers have pledged $6,112,042.

I was going to say something along the lines of “what can brown do for you” but I think UPS would have taken offense. :p

Ugh…They seriously went with the OUYA buttons? Way to make it more annoying for newcomers to learn to play, and for dev’s to port their games.

I won’t even buy one at $99 anymore.

Is that a real catchphrase? What’s next? Two couriers, One box?

Yeah I made a pretty good suggestion about the buttons and how they should be directional triangles instead of a third set of meaningless letters but oh well. Fancy over functional is the way to go it seems.
