Planetside 2 beta expected to kick off next week

Sony Online Entertainment boss John Smedley has confirmed on Twitter that "barring any unforeseen circumstances", the Planetside 2 beta will begin on Monday or Tuesday next week. Anticipation for the sci fi shooter MMO has peaked following the release of a fancy cinematic trailer; so go ahead and sign up for the test here.
