Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition to release in the fall

Sony has announced the Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition, which will be released to celebrate the fourth anniversary of its collaboration with Nissan.

The disc comes with the original game and DLC along with a new car.

Here’s the contents in full, via the EU PS Blog:

  • Complete Pack (Car Pack, Course Pack, Special Paint Pack, Racing Gear Pack)
  • Car Pack 2
  • Car Pack 3 and Course Pack 2
  • The Nissan GTR driven in this year’s Nurburgring 24 hour race by series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.

It will release September 26 for €29.99/£19.99.

    Polyphony Digital failed miserably in the last few years. I can’t believe it.

    They managed to release ONE full version on the PS3 and the engine must be so HUGE and messy that they can’t turn around and work on releasing the next one quick enough.

    The Generation will end and then they will have to overhaul EVERYTHING again. How long will it take this time? 10 years?
