Critical Path documentary speaks to gaming greats

Critical Path, a documentary focused on speaking to established games designers, has been announced and trailered. It’s a “transmedia project exploring the art, philosophy, politics and psychology of video games, starting with an online video archive of interviews with video game’s most influential designers and visionaries.” The trailer shows Sid Meier and friends waxcing lyrical on the medium. Critical Path’s based on two years of filming. There’s no date on its release as yet.

    This could be worth watching. I just hope it doesn’t end up being top pretentious. That’s always a problem when you have some many egos in one room.
