Double Dragon Neon lands on PSN, XBLA in September

WayForward Technologies has announced Double Dragon Neon, its 80s style reboot for PSN and XBLA, will release on September 11 and September 12, respectively, for $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. The game contains local and online co-op play, and stars Billy and Jimmy Lee who are fighting many a brute in order to rescue Marian from the clutches of the evil villain Skullmageddon. Gameplay consists of the original’s classic, 2D side-scrolling action with a bit of an “80s flair.”

Did you actually see this game? it looks dreadful. Do NOT buy this. Double Dragon HD is already on XBLA and probably cheaper than this version.

Although if you ask me, just go buy the Streets Of Rage Collection if you wanna beat people up in streets.

Double Dragon is one of my favourite NES game. The gameplay, the classic and fantastic BGM are always the best ever! Bisides, DD2 and DD3 were not as good as DD1.

@2
Don’t just diss the game without playing it. This is form WayForward. They’ve made Contra 4 and Aliens for DS, both of which were sublime.
