343 Industries hiring for current and next-gen Halo
Job listings with 343 Industries suggests the firm is looking for folks to work to help “drive the future of Halo.” Those with experience as a graphics developer and FX technical artist are asked to apply, and will be working on creating “current and next generation game visuals in the Halo universe.” Via Videogamer.

Current? Goddamn…could this mean we’ll see ANOTHER Halo on 360 next year or so? Please let’s just move on to the next gen next year or so…

I wonder if maybe current gen xbox (versions) of games will be made along side next gen ones? Maybe anticipating a slow adoption rate. The economey stinks and all of that.
Might just be the same game/project. Now I wonder…think the next gen xbox version would play online with players using a current gen version of the same game?

@1: I think the listing probably refers to the rumors of them working on Halo 2 Anniversary when it says “current” and probably DLC for Halo 4. I know everyone keeps saying next gen but i honestly see next-gen Xbox/PS announced in 2013, and physical hardware released in holiday 2014.
It’s too damn long in my opinion, but MS/Sony are going to bang this one (current gen) out for as long as possible.
