Gears of War: Judgment to launch March 19

Monday, 16th July 2012 09:55 GMT By Patrick Garratt

Microsoft confirmed today that Gears of War: Judgment will release on March 19.

Gears of War: Judgment will release on March 19, 2013, Microsoft said Monday.

Previous release dates of February had been rumoured, before senior Epic staffer Rod Fergusson confirmed over the weekend to G4 the game would hit in March.

It’s to retail for £49.99. Judgment takes place before the events of the existing Gears trilogy, and is designed to be “the most intense and challenging Gears game yet.”

Developed by Epic and People Can Fly, Judgment brings class-based multiplayer to the series, a new online mode called OverRun, new weapons and more.

Wouldn’t it have been best if they held off and made this game a launch game for the nxtbx?

Microsoft probably put Epic up to it plus Epic had said they have plans for another game to be a launch title for Unreal engine 4.

Might be the new Fortnite game. And you might be right about the MS influence too. I just can’t help but feel like AHA, too soon. I bought and enjoyed the first two games in the franchise, but too much samness, and I have lost my intrest in them. Continuing to crank em so fast isn’t gonna help other people avoid that same problem.

Surely this is going to get delayed? if i remember correctly wasn’t Gears Of War 3 set to release on february last year? Anyways the game just looks like gears of war 3 but with a new game mode and a couple of new grenades.
