Get outta town. Reallyyy?!

Man. I need to get into the survey business. Apparently people will pay to confirm what everybody already knows :P

I think it would be a lot more interesting to see how many games today actually aren’t sequels, or just new IPs hidden behind older brands.

THis is just a survey that gives a listing of games that will soon be released so makes the results jaded. If they made the survey to ask if the consumer would rather have a known franchise or a new ip I think it would tell a different story.

Its the end of a generation so we have very few new Ip coming out. Beyond Two souls, DIshonored, Watch Dogs, Last of US is all that comes to mind. Though I am looking for to EPic Mickey now that the sequel will be not exclusive to the Wii.

Nice to see Halo 4 at the top of the 360 pile. I really think it’s gonna dominate, I really do. Surprised no mention of The Last of Us/Two Souls in the ps3 list though…

And real good to see Borderlands 2 in there, looking forward to getting my Gunzerker on :-)

Also, why are people more excited for Madden than Borderlands 2?

@4
They aren’t going to release in 2012 that’s why they aren’t on the list. The restriction to 2012 releases and lack of any new IP for the rest of the year means this result was inevitable.

^^ At a guess I’d say it’s because one is a well received FPS/RPG & the other is the electronic version of a national sport, beloved by millions of people, of all ages, all over the globe… At a guess.

People can’t really be excited for any new franchise if almost nobody is making any.

Yep, it’s all Mario/Zelda/Kirby/Mario.

I’m too bad at Halo Reach to even notice how AAs alter the multiplayer, so only Nintendo doesn’t count.
