Spicy Horse’s latest effort is coming to Android, iDevice and PC some time this year with full cross-platform play.

Crazy Fairies: One World enters closed beta next week; you can sign up here.

Kotaku reports the mish-mash of fairy tales is a multiplayer combat affair much like Worms.

The free-to-play title is supported by in-game microtransactions; early reports suggest Spicy Horse will have to do some serious tweaking during testing to strike the right balance.

American McGee’s Shanghai-based studio, Spicy Horse is best known to core gamers for Alice: Madness Returns, but has moved into the mobile, social, social and free-to-play spheres with recent projects Akaneiro and Big Head Bash.
