Possibilities for Metroid using Wii U’s GamePad “could be really fantastic,” says Miyamoto

Shigeru Miyamoto has said the possibilities for Metroid using Wii U’s GamePad “could be really fantastic.” Speaking with IGN, Miyamoto said, hypothetically, with Metroid, it was easy to imagine interesting implementations for Wii U. “I think that having another screen with the gyro built in really gives you a lot of interesting opportunities for development,” he said, “and we can bring a lot of our games to life in a completely unique way with that. There’s certainly a lot that you could do there for that game.” However, the game he would “personally” really love to see land on Wii U is Star Fox, although he wouldn’t say whether it or Metroid were in development for the new console.

Sorry sir, but we already thought that those amazing ideas and all those things had been already planned and that this new Metroid had been already created and that in the WiiU conference it would appear…

Well, you got me, right? Thats the problem sir. What are all your dev studios doing beside Pikmin 3 or Mario!?

The key words are “COULD BE”
The real question is “WILL IT BE”?
