Xbox Live services restored after black-out

Microsoft has now restored Xbox Live services following the online system going down earlier today Microsoft said it is aware of issues, which saw service incapacitated for several hours. The firm said: The XBL status page says: "users may experience difficulties signing into Xbox Live from an Xbox console" as well as signing into Xbox Live from Xbox.com. "We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue," said the notice. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience."
