THQ Australia to honour Darksiders 2 GAME pre-order offer

Those who pre-ordered Darksiders 2 through GAME Australia before the retail chain shuttered were offered an exclusive piece of DLC - and can still get it.

Deadly Despair is a permanent speed boost for Death's trusty steed and will probably become available for purchase post-launch, but THQ Australia wants to give it to those of you who already earned it once.

To get your bonus content, you'll need to email a copy of both your original GAME pre-order receipt and a new one from a solvent retailer to enquiriesau@thq.com. Let this be a lesson to us all: always keep the receipt.

A code for the DLC will be provided once Darksiders 2 launches on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in mid-August; a Wii U version is expected at a later date.

GAME Australia entered administration in May and has been formally closed.
