Focus Home Interactive has announced free DLC for Wargame: European Escalation called Conquest, which contains a new multiplayer mode and seven new maps. The game is also being discounted on Steam.

Numerous new control zones have been added, and the DLC is playable against the AI as well as other players.

The Siege mode, introduced with the last DLC, has had two new battlefields added, while Destruction and Conquest modes are also the beneficiary of the Mecklenburg map.

Improvements to the multiplayer mode’s menus have been added, providing better visibility of players waiting on a ranked game, as well as better clarity in game creation options.

Many units have had their stats updated for better balancing as well.

Wargame: European Escalation will also be on sale this weekend on Steam, where you can get it for 50% off. The sale starts today, and runs through Monday, July 9.
