The Pinball Arcade getting two more expansions this summer

FarSight has announced add-on pack 3 and add-on pack 4 will release for The Pinball Arcade in August for PS3 and PS Vita.

Add-on Pack 3 contains Monster Bash, and the goal to get six of Universal Studios Monsters to form a band. Monsters include the Mummy, Dracula, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein and the Wolfman. Also included in the pack is Gorgar, a 1979-era table designed by Barry Oursler based on the first “talking” pinball machine. The pack will run you $4.99.

Add-on Pack 4 contains the Creature from the Black Lagoon where the player has to save their drive-on date from the Creature and, if successful, is rewarded by seeing a pinball hologram. This table also features story and dialog from the movie. Also included is Black Knight which was the first table to feature a split-level playfield as well as the first-ever Magna-Save: a magnet that allowed users to push a button which saves a ball from draining down the outlane. Another first, Bonus Ball, is included and awards the player with the highest score a few additional seconds of free play when in multiplayer.

The firm said a Twilight Zone table and others are in development as well.
