Vita firmware 1.8 to add PS Classics support

Sony will add PS Classics support to PlayStation Vita via firmware update 1.8 this summer, according to this Andriasang report. The new came from Sony’s announcement of the PS2 Game Archives service for PS3. There’s no specific date for the upgrade.

So this will allow PSOne games on Vita? Like FFVII for £4?

@DrDamn:
To describe it completely:
Yep. If you purchase a PSOne game like FF VII for €4.99/£3.99, regardless if it’s a discount or not, if you payed for it you are allowed to install it on up to five devices at the same time (PS3, PSP, PSVita and i think on Android devices after PS Suite is finally released) for as long as you like and no edxtra charge. Plus if you want to, you can deactivate your licence on one device e.g. to install and activate it on another maybe sixth device.

Also, you are able to play games from other accounts on a PS3 or a PS Vita, even if you are logged in with another PSN, account. Only downside for this is, you won’t be able to get trophys on the PS Vita in a game of another account, and on the PS3, you will be able to get trophys, but you won’t be able to share you local save file with the athoer account, what you can do on the Vita.
