"Nothing is officially off the table" for DC Universe Online

DC and Sony Online Entertainment haven't ruled out any characters or series from possible future inclusion in MMORPG DC Universe Online.

"Never say never," DC Universe Online directer Jens Andersen told PC Gamer.

"There are some books [and] characters that, at face value, may not seem to fit. The beauty of this brand, however, is that it can all be justified through proper narrative context."

Andersen gave the example of Neil Gaiman's Sandman as a DC line that might not seem to fit into the wider DC pantheon.

"But I would never say that we couldn’t find a way to get Dream, Delirium and their brothers and sisters involved, if we had a great story to tell that could be supported with our gameplay," he said.

"So, no, nothing is officially off the table."
