The Last of Us will not have co-op in the main campaign

Naughty Dog has reiterated that multiplayer in The Last of Us will not constituted co-op in the main campaign between Joel and Ellie. Speaking with Gaming Examiner, game director Neil Druckmann, however, promised multiplayer support for the title was in the works, but he failed to elaborate on what it would entail. The firm's Uncharted series contained various multiplayer modes outside of the core game, so it's possible gamers may see both competitive and cooperative in some capacity. Thanks, Shack.
