Sleeping Dogs to penalise civilian murder in Japan

Wednesday, 27th June 2012 11:40 GMT By Patrick Garratt

Siliconera’s reporting that the Japanese version of Sleeping Dogs will penalise players who kill civilian players in some missions. The game is called Sleeping Dogs Hong Kong Secret Police in Japan, and will be rated CERO Z, which makes it an adults-only game you have to request at a store counter. Some other small changes have been made to the game, including moving a camera over concern related to a sexual theme. Sleeping Dogs releases in Japan on September 27.

Damn… That means the game actually touches on real violence (and not just senseless killing of NPCs).

Well you don’t know that, Assassins creed punishes you for killing innocents but your still an angel of death.

So this is only a fix for the Japanese Market? Tbh I liked the sound of that. After all your supposed to be a undercover cop, doesn’t sound right that your also a psycho, killing civvies as and when you want.

P.s. Moving camera over sex scenes? Huh?
