Microsoft’s Larry Hryb has announced the welcome extension of the Xbox 360 subscription deal to US chain retailers Best Buy and Gamestop. The deal, which includes a 4GB Xbox 360 and Kinect for $99 plus two year’s subscription fee of $14.99, was previously only available through Microsoft’s rare retail outlets until the firm announced a change of heart earlier in the month.

Surely no way back for the PS3 in the US now…

Nice. A 4gb xbox360, 24 months of online play(Gold),one control pad, kinect and …does it even come with a pack in game and HD cables..for just the low low prices of 460usd!!

    What a deal.

    Almost 500usd after tax.

I am telling you folks that 299usd xbox next you have been reading about …. no way it is going to happen. unless they make you sub to their 4G service and carry a Data plan. It will be like buying a smart Phone. 300usd for the system and it comes with 2 years of subscription. And if it is for the 4G service, it will be much higher then 14.99/month.

i used to love the 360. but this is just too much. ms became way too aggressive. this is not cool. they´ve learnt nothing from the finance crash. it is about attitude too, moral values…people who roll eyes now just still didn´t get it.
i really do not want to suport stuff like this. if happens what og said (and everything points in that direction) with the next box. they can kiss my ass and i really really hope (but highly doubt) other consumers will act the same. all this is bad for gaming in general.
