Multiplayer sale, Kinect Central kicks off XBL Marketplace offerings

Microsoft has updated its Xbox Live content schedule, and the releases kick off today with - as you are already well aware of - Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut, Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, and the Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim. But there are other goodies available such as Haunt for free via Kinect Central, and some on the way - such as Spelunky - so hit the page break and have a look.

Starting today, a new feature on the XBL Dashboard called Kinect Central has the title Haunt available for free for a limited time. This promotion runs in the US from today through Monday, July 2 and can only be accessed on the new Kinect Central homepage.

Sales starting today include Trine 2 for 50% off, Gotham City Imposters is 33% off, X-Men Arcade is 50% off, and there are others as well.

Spelunky will release on the service July 4 for 1200 MSP, as will Bellator MMA Onslaught for the same price.  The Forza 4 July car pack will release July 3 for 560 MSP as well.

Next week, a Call of Duty sale will also commence with 50% off on select Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops offerings.
