CVG reports UK retail chain HMV has listed the newly-announced 3DS XL at £179.99. Other retailers have nominated similar price points but expect to make a loss; Zavvi’s gone for a significantly higher £210. The overhauled console has an RRP of $199 in the US, and will arrive there several weeks after its June 28 debut in Europe and Japan.

    amazon germany as well 199€.
i still think the price will drop a bit. i hope for 169€.
i for one will get the red one anyway – i was waiting for it and i love the 3ds. probably my favourite console atm. use it more than my ps360wii. (vita recently sold)
great great games are already exsiting and in the pipeline for it too.
good moment to buy one i´d say.
the dsi xl is just great. i have the 35th anni. mario edition. it was hard to go back to the small 3ds screens. serioulsy cannot wait for the xl.

that said, here´s something controversial: i enjoyed pilotwings resort much more than uncharted golden abyss.
that´s probably why i don´t get the second circle pad discussion. i truly do not get it.
