Activision announces Wreck-It Ralph videogame tie-in for Wii, 3DS and DS

Activision has announced that Disney's forthcoming animated picture Wreck-It Ralph will appear in videogame form exclusively on Nintendo platforms.

It'll be a side-scrolling platformer for Nintendo 3DS, DS and Wii, and will be releasing in northern autumn alongside the movie.

The Wii version of the game will feature two-player co-op, but you'll on your own on the handheld versions of the game.

The game is being designed as a "story extension", and picks up from where the movie will end. It'll see our hero Ralph team up with Fix-It Felix in order to save their friends from a Cy-Bug invasion. Scary stuff.

The publisher is mum on who the developer of the game is, and is yet to release any media assets for the game.

If you haven't seen the trailer for the movie yet, you can take a look at it below. It's super fun.
