SWTOR update 1.3 launches June 26, more character slots in the plan

Saturday, 23rd June 2012 17:24 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

BioWare has posted a new Q&A for Star Wars: The Old Republic regarding the MMO’s latest content release, update 1.3: Allies. While it mainly focuses on what’s included in the content: Legacy Perks, Ranked Warzones, Adaptive Gear, and a new Group Finder, it also fields questions regarding armor sets, abilities, and class changes. It also stated that more character slots will be made available in “the near future.” You can look over the Q&A in its entirety here. Update 1.3 launched on June 26, the same day as the firm’s Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut DLC. Thanks, TenTonHammer.

Can’t say how much i want more character slots. I actually have to delete a character to make room for the next race xD

Lets just hope that they dont balls this one up. Its funny how there are still so many concerns on the forums about 1.3 and because subscribers billing cycles are coming to an end, its getting pushed out.

For a change, I would love to eat my own words….but I dont see a single slice of humble pie in sight! ;)

^I actually think that 1.3 is getting pushed out because IIRC they promised their investors that it would be out before July, so the 26th is the last chance they have for doing that :P

Oh dear. Those bloody investors again. im trying to see if they have made changes to warzones but they really havent. Just added another generic one by the looks of it – nerfed some classes but hey ho.

I absolutely agree that investors have too much power. It is undertandable, but i still hate it, if that makes any sense xD
Regarding the warzones, i’m not really a PvP’er, so i can’t go into detail there, but the ranked warzones are (finally) coming. Other than that i don’t know ^^

More character slots would definitely be a welcome addition. With the server merges more people will want to stay on the busiest – and so will want more options to have different chars.

For the first time ever I actually did the daily quests today… It was long but not too bad! ;)
