BlueGiant Interactive announces competitive RTS in the works called Tryst

Saturday, 23rd June 2012 20:13 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

BlueGiant Interactive has announced Tryst, a competitive RTS “set in the distant future where humans find themselves at war with a mechanical alien race known as the Zali.”

According to the game’s website, Tryst contains reactive environmental dangers, with Augmentation Research Mechanism units which allow the player to equip units “with specific load-outs to change their natural advantages and disadvantages.”

It sounds like an interesting premise with an interesting story, and you can find out more on it through a developer diary posted here.

The website also has screenshots and a teaser trailer is posted below. No release date just yet.

Thanks, Blue.

Is it trying to be starcraft?

^I don’t think so. Doesn’t look “StarCrafty” at all, except for taking place in a sci-fi setting. I would like to know how they are expecting to make this competitive. From the trailer and the above description it looks more gimmicky than competitive.
