Fez patch causing “fairly widespread” issues with corrupt save files
Fez has been patched, but you may wish to hold off on the update until new issues can be fixed. According to a official post on the matter, after applying the patch, an issue can occur where save files are corrupted after installing the patch. Polytron said it was “floored that this wasn’t found in testing, but for the moment, deleting your system cache should resolve the issue.” If that fails, there is no known workaround, so until a solution is found, just hold off on the patch.

The vast majority, I’m on the side of the developer when something is buggy (nobody’s perfect!), but jesus, a game breaking patch to patch other game breaking issues?

Killing your savegame is one of the worst bugs you can get really.
Of course MS should take some blame too.
