Amazon dates Fable: The Journey for October 9
Online retail giant Amazon has slapped an October 9 release date on Lionhead’s Kinect exclusive Fable: The Journey. The adventure had previously been slotted only for the holiday season. The Journey puts players in charge of a horse and cart and has them traveling the highways ofAlbion aiding – or ignoring – those in need along the way. It’s not on rails – mostly.

I would rather it’s on rail. On rail games like Time Crisis, House of the Dead can also be fun. Why so obsessed to make off-rail Kinect game that’s in fact unplayable?

The fact that you can choose a left or right path once in a while, doesn’t mean it’s not an on-rails game.
@Henry: On rails games can be fun for a while, but get really boring soon imo

It was confirmed for release October 12, at least in Europe, during E3.
