Valkryia Chronicles back in browser-based card battler

Sega and online game portal provider NHN Corp have launched a new free-to-play, web-based card game based on the Valkryia Chronicles brand titled Valkryia Duel. A trailer accompanies the launch of user testing, which takes place from today, Tuesday June 19, until Monday June 25.

A trailer for a new game based in Sega’s Valkyria Chronicles universe reveals it to be a card battler, the trailer can be found below. Valkryia Duel, a free-to-play browser game has over 200 cards to collect based on characters from the series and features 3D depictions of card battles, Andriasang has reported.

The Valkryia Duel website features notice of a user test taking place for the next six days. There’s no word on localisation outside of Japan.

    Before doing anything else, they should first announce localisation plans for VC 3 and a new VC for vita.

    Actually you maybe wrong in this regard. Handheld development is cheaper and shorter and also its more favoured in japan.

    Just bring VC3 out of Japan please. PSP, Vita, PS3, I don’t care. I just want to play it. I just can’t believe how poorly Sega is treating their most promising IP…
