Penny Arcade Adventures 3 now in trailer form

Check out Zeboyd’s retro-inspired take on Penny Arcade Adventures in the trailer for the third instalment of On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness.

The first two games in the series were produced as 3D RPGs by Hothouse games, but didn’t quite sell well enough to justify the final planned entry. Happily, Penny Arcade seems pretty delighted with the work substitute developer Zeboyd has done, and there are even quiet rumblings of further episodes; you can hardly blame them given the sterling work of the team behind Cthulhu Saves the World.

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode III arrives on July 10 . It’ll fun you $4.99 on Steam and 400 MS Points via Xbox Live Arcade, with Android, iOS and Mac release details to be confirmed.
