Mistwalker almost done with Party Wave, keen on Wii U
The Last Story and Blue Dragon developer Mistwalker is set to launch its first iOS game, and is looking forward to a future filled with the beautiful RPGs it’s better known for.

“Finally the surfing game ‘Party Wave’ with iOS is nearly completion,” Ffounder Hironobu Sakaguchi wrote on Twitter, sharing a single piece of art.
Party Wave is the only project Mistwalker has made public since the completion of The Last Story, although staff have hinted there are other titles on the go. The Last Story lead designer Takuya Matsumoto commented to GameZone that the studio is keen to continue in the same genre.
“The development team and Sakaguchi-san are looking forward to making more, especially for the Wii U because it has another [screen] right in front of you that will add another level of strategic elements into the action-RPG,” he noted.
“So we are really looking forward to it, but we haven’t really planned anything.”
The Last Story is already available in PAL territories and hits the US on July 10, after about a zillion years of waiting.
Thanks, Siliconera.

I just can’t stand the Wii, least because of that game it made the Wii get a wipe of the dust off it for once.

@3 Don’t forget Xenoblade Chronicles either. Well worth a bit of love and attention.

@1 I second that. A damn shame about The Last Story. And now we have to read that they want to do their next RPG on the Wii U… *sigh*
