Report - Paramount in talks with Ubisoft on Splinter Cell movie

Deadline has reported that Paramount is in talks regarding a film version of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, although when asked, the studio declined comment. According to the report, Ubisoft "will be very involved and retain control over how the game is translated into a film." Earlier reports indicated Warner was a front runner, but it appears Paramount is the safe bet. Thanks, Joystiq.
