Xbox 360 spring system update rolling out this week

Microsoft's Larry Hryb has confirmed that a new Xbox 360 system update is being quietly pushed out to selected users.

"If you got an Xbox 360 System Update: Spring update [is] rolling out to a few this week," the Xbox programming director said.

If all goes well, the update will arrive for everyone else next week.

"The system updated contains behind the scenes improvements and prep for future enhancements," Hryb added when questioned about the update's content.

Gosh I wonder what he could mean. Did Microsoft announce a lot of new services at its E3 2012 presser? Oh, it did.

Thanks, Joystiq. [image]
