World population limits increased for GW2 beta weekend

Saturday, 9th June 2012 20:24 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

ArenaNet has said it’s increasing the world population limits the Guild Wars 2 beta event which is going on this weekend. Therefore, worlds that were previously listed as full are now open to more characters. The purpose was to alleviate the rush of players, but if you find you are still have some issues with the game, there is a known issues thread here. Thanks, Massively.

    Yup. And it was appreciated.

Once again… wow, had so much fun. This is such a beautiful game. Simply beautiful.

There’s even a diving board up really high in Lion’s Arch where you can put on trunks and go diving, doing various diving spins and flips on the way down.

It seems to think of everything. And there’s so much detail everywhere.

    I love it dearly.

I still cant get on with the auction house. Its just fucking terrible in design.

Sure, you get instant sales and instant money but its very slow and still worst than SWTORs offering, which was, until GW2, the worst Auction house in gaming history. GW has taken the crown and they really need to address it.

Apart from that its all good but still trying to adapt to the combat and skills.

Its just not user friendly. Like in WoW and Rift, you can see endless items of stuff you want to buy. You can either bid or purchase outright.

Currently, it just shows stuff ‘required’, with gear and weapons to purchase. You then set your amount either the same price of the lowest or match the highest, or go inbetween.

And as I said, its very very very slow. I will try and make a video if I get the time, if not next beta.

In SWTOR, you cant(still) link items to search for, endless stupid menus to work your way through just to find a gold Jawa turd. GW2s version is more complex, more time consuming when essentially, all you want to do is simply add an item, set your price, then fuck off back to questing.

If this stays the same, I will probably give it a miss. Its bad enough having merchants scattered all over the place, especially in the city. Maybe it will change.
