Resident Evil 6 Anthology, Archives to release October 2, confirms Capcom

Capcom has confirmed Amazon listing from earlier in the week regarding Archives and Anthology editions for Resident Evil 6.

Both sets include Resident Evil 6 as well as previous releases in the RE series.

Here’s the contents:

Resident Evil 6 Anthology (PS3)

  • Resident Evil 6
  • Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
  • Resident Evil 4 HD
  • Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
  • Resident Evil 2
  • Resident Evil: Director’s Cut

Resident Evil 6 Archives (Xbox 360)

  • Resident Evil 6
  • Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
  • Resident Evil 4 HD
  • Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD
  • Resident Evil Degeneration (DVD film)

Both editions are out October 2, alongside the standard edition of the game, for $89.99 each.

Resident Evil: Director’s Cut!? Is this just the old game released in late 90s or an HD version of RE1 remake?

That’s probably the case but damn, I really want to try the remake. Maybe it would come to RE6 on Wii U!?

@4 It probably has something to do with the licensing with Nintendo, not mntion the fact that it was designed for unique hardware. I’ll be surprised if we ever see it again, on anything.

Notice how we’re not getting RE1, 2 or 3 for the 360? They’re just packaging in the emulated versions that you can buy on the PlayStation Store.

Its just typical Capcom laziness. Why would they bother making the effort to port stuff when they can just package in what they have already?

seeing REmake or 0 on non nintendo platform is a pipedream, best alternative is running in on pc with dolphin emulator.

I know but that’s why having the game on Wii U version of RE6 Anthology makes sense. Of course Capcom’s laziness is always a huge negative factor so, maybe indeed we will never see that game again.

Call me crazy.. but I’m buying a Wii U just to play the Wii versions of Resident Evil Archives!!. Why not a wii??! well.. just in case ZombieU turns to be good.

Well but all are Redeemers codes to PSN/XBL except RE6.
