Rumor – Tomb Raider Wii U pops up on Game Informer scan

A scan reportedly taken of a Game Informer feature on Tomb Raider has the game coming to Wii U. Back in January, Crystal Dynamics said there were no plans to release the title on the console, due to it being developed with existing tech. Therefore the scan could be one of three things: a fake, a misprint by Game Informer, or Crystal D has changed its mind. Still, slot it in your mind as rumor for now until confirmed. Thanks, GoNintendo.

Let’s go with misprint by Game Informer, they may be the #1 gaming magazine but they have a ton of errors such as release dates and platforms quite often…

If its not a misprint, it just goes to show you how similar the level of tech is b/w the current gen systems and the WiiU

#2 i think the WiiU at the end it will stand between the ps3/360 and ps4/720, therefore of course it can run old tech games, as the same it will run the next gen games, but albeit scaled down , thats the reason why nintendo went with the pro controller option, in order to get most of the third party support next gen, ports shouldnt be as problematic as with the Wii.
